Vaporesso Armour S box mod

Available in a single-battery version, the Armour S uses the same design as the Armour max (double-battery version), with a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) frame that protects the box from impact. But that doesn't mean it's waterproof. As for the charging socket, it is not protected against water or dust.

The size of the box has been greatly reduced to make it even more ergonomic to hold. The overall look is modern, even a little geeky.

The box mod accepts 18650, 20700 and .... 21700 batteries, thanks to the adaptor supplied in the kit. This means long battery life for a maximum power output of 100W.

A charging socket allows you to charge your replacement batteries for emergency purposes. The battery compartment is opened using a button on the back of the box. It's a little hard when the batteries are in place, but this prevents the hatch from opening accidentally.

On the front there are a number of elements, a large power switch, two settings buttons and a colour OLED screen.

The power switch also locks the box.

The power switch has two functions: turning on the box and vaping. When you move the switch from top to bottom, it locks to prevent it from being accidentally triggered in your pocket.

The 0.96" colour OLED screen lets you choose between different operating modes:

• F(t) mode: automatically adjusts the heating speed of the coil for better flavour production.
• Pulse mode: increases power throughout the vape for high vapor production.
• Eco mode: classic variable wattage but consumes less battery power than F(t) or Pulse mode.
• TC-Ni/SS/Ti mode: temperature control mode.

You can also activate the "Smart" mode in the settings. For F(t), Pulse and Eco modes, the power will be automatically adjusted according to the coil. Unlike most other box mods on the market, Smart mode applies to all Watt modes.

Use

- Charging your box mod:
Plug the USB cable into the port on your Vaporesso box (USB C socket), after inserting an 18650, 20700 or 21700 battery in the recommended direction. While your box is charging, you can continue to vape. The box has a charge indicator. As with all box mods, we advise you to charge your batteries on a dedicated charger, to ensure a more efficient charge and to preserve their lifespan.

- Switching your box mod on and off:
Press the "power" button 5 times to switch your box mod on and off.

- Using your box mod:
To access the menu, press the button below the power adjustment buttons 3 times or press and hold the button for quick menu navigation. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to navigate. Press the middle button under the "+" and "-" buttons to enter the various options and confirm your choices. Navigation instructions appear directly on the box screen.

The lock/unlock system is automatic. Press the "switch" 3 times in succession to unlock it.
