Dotmod is back with the DotAIO, an all-in-one model that combines technology and style. Gone are the days of aluminium frames; with the Lite, Dotmod has opted for a frost-effect polycarbonate frame. Robust, light and transparent, Dotmod plays with materials to bring a touch of originality to the world of vaping.

All the hallmarks of the Dotmod brand are here: the engraved button, ideally placed for vaping, the compact size for easy transport and the 2 removable side covers.

The first cover gives access to the 18650 battery compartment. Once in place, it is fully protected by the box. It delivers an impressive 75W and is charged via the USB C socket on the underside of the box.

There are also two adjustment buttons to increase or decrease the power. Once the cover is back in place, it protects against any risk of the buttons being tampered with.

The ignition switch lights up to indicate the charge level of your battery. The colour varies according to the charge level.

The second cover gives access to the cartridge. The 2ml cartridge and coils from previous Dotmod versions are compatible. The airflow is precise and allows an airy to slightly tight draw.

Inside the kit, Dotmod offers 2 510 drip tips: a wide one for an airy draw and a narrower one for a slightly more restrictive draw.

Control screen

The box has a large monochrome colour screen with an editable colour theme. It is clearly legible and fully protected by the polycarbonate frame.

There are the classic control modes: Variable Wattage, Bypass and Temperature Control for Ni, Ti and SS wires.

The box also features automatic detection of the power used by the coil. Use the + and - buttons to select 4 power levels: "very light", "light", "medium" and "strong".

This model also detects the amount of liquid available. If you run out of liquid in the cartridge, the button flashes yellow twice. This prevents dry hits and extends the life of the coils.

With the Dotmod Lite, vaping is airy and more suitable for vapers with previous vape experience. It can be used with high nicotine strengths, as long as the 0.9 ohm coils are used.

The kit includes 2 coils with the following ranges of use:

• Dotmod Dotcoil 0.7 ohm coil with an operating range of between 14 W and 20 W for restrictive direct inhalation.
• Dotmod DotCoil 0.3 ohm coil with an operating range of between 25 W and 40 W for more powerful direct inhalation.

Calumette's review: Dotmod has got us used to brightly coloured aluminium frames. With the Lite, Dotmod breaks the mould by using polycarbonate for its lightness and subtle play of transparency. This may come as a surprise, but what hasn't changed is the quality of the material and its finish.
The detection of the liquid and the value of the coil are very appreciable elements of comfort that are not found on all boxes. There's no doubt that Dotmod remains a model on the vape market.

Use

- Switching on/off :
Perform 5 consecutive presses on the "swich".

- Recharging :
Plug the USB type C cable into your computer's USB port or wall socket and charge your box. Your box will show the battery charge level on the screen. We advise you to use a battery charger to preserve the life of your replacement batteries.

- Setting :
Press the "power" button 3 times in less than a second to access your device's menu. Refer to the user manual to select the operating mode that suits you.

- Changing the coil :
Remove the side cover on the liquid level control slot side. Pull on the top of the cartridge to remove it. Remove the coil from the adaptor. Caution, the tank must not be full.

- Filling your tank:
Remove the side cover on the liquid level control slot side. Open the Teflon cover and fill.

- Vaping:
Press the "switch" to vape.

- To charge your replacement batteries, we recommend using an external battery charger to optimise charging and preserve replacement batteries life.
