Calumette 18650 wraps (10 pack)

18650 wraps are protective PVC covers that replace the damaged sheaths on your batteries. The wrap is an essential safety feature for your replacement battery to work properly.

To rewrap your replacement battery, simply remove the damaged wrap and then cover it with the new wrap, leaving a few millimetres on either side of the replacement battery.

Use a hot air gun and direct the hot air over the entire surface of the wrap until the wrap has completely shrunk onto the replacement battery. The uniform temperature makes it easier to fit the wraps without the risk of burning yourself or damaging the replacement battery.

We recommend that you carry your replacement batteries in boxes or wrapped in protective silicone. To avoid short-circuits, never put replacement batteries in contact with coins or keys. Never use a replacement battery if its wrap is damaged. In this case, either remove it or rewrap it using Calumette wraps.

Safety rules

Like all batteries, replacement batteries can be dangerous if misused. To ensure safe use, please observe the following rules:

- Do not carry an unprotected replacement battery in your pocket or bag.
- A replacement battery with a damaged wrap should be replaced immediately.
- Do not expose your replacement battery to intense heat (≥ 100°C).
- Do not leave your replacement batteries unattended when charging.
- Do not expose your replacement battery to flames or incandescent materials.
- When using a mechanical box, always observe ohm's law.
- Dispose of your replacement battery in a dedicated battery recycling container.

To protect your replacement batteries, Calumette recommends carrying cases for replacement batteries, as well as a quality charger to ensure they last a long time.
