Temperature control is an operating mode available on most boxes on the market, which consists of choosing not a voltage or wattage, but a temperature of the coil wire when vaping.
The box calculates the temperature of the resistive wire according to the material of the wire, the coil, the voltage sent and the current passing through. When the target temperature is reached, the box cuts off the power supply and constantly jerks the power back on to ensure that the temperature of the resistive wire is always the same.
The big advantage of this operating mode is that you avoid dry hits and burning the cotton of your coil when you run out of liquid. Note that this operating mode can only be used with Titanium (TI), Nickel (Ni 200) or Stainless Steel (SS) wires.
