The clearomizer is the most common piece of equipment in the world of vape, consisting of a tank and a coil (non-rebuildable and generally replaceable) to produce the vapor. The difference between a cartomizer and a clearomizer is that for the latter the liquid level is perfectly visible in the transparent tank.
Clearomizer is a term coined by KangerTech, when it invented the first transparent cartomizer ("clear" = transparent).
