The Voopoo Drag S kit is a modern and perfectly thought-out device. New colours available for even more elegance! The leather-look design and stitching add an ultra-fashionable touch. For a device in this category, the finish is perfect. Presented as a pod with its rechargeable cartridge, Drag S is compact but quite tall (11.5 cm), so it can carry a 2500 mAh battery, for a maximum power output of 60 W. Charging is via a USB type C cable.

The on-board Gene chipset offers a host of functions. The device incorporates power control. It automatically detects the value of the coil and sets the maximum power it can handle. No more risk of error or dry hits due to incorrect settings. This safety feature is available in "Smart" mode. You can also use the "Press" function, which lets you use the box with the "power" or "P&A" button for automatic use of the device (no need to press the "power" button, just inhale directly to activate the device). In "P&A" mode, you can use the "power" button again to activate the device.

A final mode is available on the box: 'RBA'. This means that the battery is above the values recommended by the coil. As the name suggests, this mode is useful for cartridges with a rebuildable RBA tray.

The screen displays the charge indicator, the number of puffs, the value of the coil in ohms and the operating voltage. There's even a clock.

The large-capacity 4.5 ml PCTG cartridges are designed for direct or slightly restrictive draw. The magnetic cartridge is easy to fit. Filling is from the bottom. Drag S is equipped with the famous VM5 0.2 ohm and VM1 0.3 ohm PnP coils for a powerful, airy vape.

Range of use of PnP coils sold in the kit:

• VM5 0.2 ohm PnP coil from 40 to 60 W.
• VM1 0.3 ohm PnP coil from 32 to 40 W.

The drip tip is integrated into the cartridge but cannot be removed. If you've fallen under the spell of the device but you vape indirectly, you can use the Voopoo V-Suit cartridges, which are fully adapted for an MTL draw. However, you'll need to use coils greater than or equal to 0.8 ohms.

Calumette's review: The Voopoo Drag S is a very well designed device. The automatic trigger is very rare on a device of this size: it's a real plus. While the draw is aimed at vapers used to DL, its compatibility with V-Suit cartridges makes it possible for MTL vapers.

Use

- Switching on/off your Voopoo Drag S pod:
Perform 5 consecutive presses on the swich.

- Recharging your Voopoo Drag S pod:
Plug the USB-C cable into your computer's USB port or wall socket. Your battery has a charge indicator.

-Adjusting the power of your Voopoo pod :
Use the "+" and "-" buttons to change the power of your box.

- Setting the time on your pod:
Press the power button and the "+" and "-" buttons to access the clock setting.

- Locking your pod:
Press the power and "+" buttons simultaneously to lock your pod's power.

- Changing the operating mode:
Press the power button 3 times to switch between "Smart Press", "Smart P&A" and "RBA" modes.

- Refilling your Voopoo cartridge:
Pull on the drip of the cartridge to remove it from the pod. Lift the Teflon cover on the bottom of the cartridge and fill it. Then put your cartridge back in place.

- Changing the coil :
Pull on the drip of the cartridge to remove it from the pod. Then remove the coil and fit the new one. Put your cartridge back in place.

Advice

- We suggest you put a few drops of e-liquid on the cotton part of your Voopoo PnP coil. This will prevent a burnt taste.
